  6.     Dennis's continual prodding and goading, version 3.0 would
  7.     never have left the drawing board and become reality.

  10. A PLEA:

  12.     If you would like Qsoft to upload your registered copy of
  13.     Flash to YOUR BBS please pre-register us on your BBS. We probably
  14.     won't be calling again and it sometimes takes 5 minutes of answering
  15.     questions just to get on. Please pre-register in the following manner.

  18.           PASSWORD: FLASH30
  19.         CITY,STATE: LANCASTER, CA.
  20.         and any other questions needed to get upload privaleges..

  22.     If this is not possible then you will have to download from us. We
  23.     are sorry for this inconvience but between the time it takes to even
  24.     get connected and then going through all the new user stuff has become
  25.     very unprofitable.. Feel free to delete KEN WILCOX as a user after you
  26.     receive your upload..

  30. A REMINDER:
  31. -----------
  32.     Flash will create a file called FLASH.CNF when the program is
  33.     run for the first time. Together FLASH30.EXE and FLASH.CNF
  34.     MUST RESIDE in the same subdirectory on your drive.  Furthermore
  35.     FLASH30.EXE must be run from the directory in which it resides.
  36.     To keep coding levels down no attempt has been made to allow
  37.     FLASH to operate through the Path environment.

  39.     If FLASH 3.0 is run from a directory containing a previous version
  40.     of Flash delete any prior Flash.cnf files.

  42. A NOTE:
  43. -------
  44.     Previous versions of FLASH were released in conjunction with
  45.     CODEWORKS SOFTWARE. Strictly due to business reasons FLASH is
  46.     now released by it's author Kenneth Wilcox (soon to be QSOFT
  47.     SOFTWARE). CODEWORKS will no longer support earlier versions
  48.     of FLASH. Please direct any inquires to QSOFT.

  50.     Please do not read into this any further then what has been
  51.     stated, as CODEWORKS is a fine company whose products we will
  52.     continue to use and enjoy.

  54. A THOUGHT:
  55. ----------
  56.     If demand warrants it we will release a module for Flash that
  57.     will allow co-sysops to call in and update their news files
  58.     remotely (as a door). Let us know what you think.
